Just continuously telling myself 'I am not trying to GET anywhere' has calmed me down each time I start to feel anxious, feel rushed or want to do things more efficiently. If I don't need to accomplish anything, any and all stress melts away completely and I can sit calmly in my knowing that each and every experience is valid and worthwhile. Accomplishments are a way for to prove myself in this material world, to let the ego show that it is good enough, smart enough, powerful enough... but if that does not bring me happiness nor peace what is the purpose of accomplishing anything???
So at least for today I take the position of the peaceful warrior... moving through life with motivation, strength and tranquility, no forcing, no holding back.
